Algarrobina carob syrup is a really popular sweet treat in Peru, and can beadded to lots of things to give a wonderful flavour. These ice pops are perfect for a hot day, so pop them in the freezer and wait for the elusive British summer to come out!
Makes 4 x 100ml ice lollies
200ml condensed milk
200ml semi-skimmed milk
1.5 tablespoons algarrobina (black carob syrup)
Pour the condensed milk and semi-skimmed milk into a container and use a hand blender to whizz together.
Add the algarrobina to it and mix in well.
Pour into moulds and refrigerate for a few hours, preferably overnight. And enjoy!
